"Beatrice Mitchell Little, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 88, died October 2, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah of causes incident to age.

She was born November 29, 1909 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of James M. and Mary Elizabeth Theobald Mitchell. Her father died prior to her birth. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, William Dearin. She married Clarence Christopher Little in 1927. He was killed in 1944 during World War II at Metz, France.

Bea was educated in Salt Lake City and graduated from West High School. She was employed by J.C. Penney Co. for 39 years and was in charge of their children's department until her retirement in 1972. Member of the LDS Church and for many years a member of the Liberty Park Ward. She loved going to the temple and doing ordinance work until she was slowed by her health. She enjoyed traveling and visited most parts of the U.S. and many countries in Europe. She loved the mountains surrounding Salt Lake and was always glad when she returned home.

Bea was a loving and generous mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed being around children and cooking Sunday dinner for the family.

Survived by son, daughter-in-law; two grandsons and six great-grandchildren. "We will miss you, Grandma!"

Funeral services Tuesday, October 6th, at 2 p.m. Larkin Sunset Lawn Chapel, 2350 East 1300 South, where friends may call 1 to 2 p.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery."
