GLEN ALAN "BUD" BARR, 75, died on Monday, oCT. 26, 2009, at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville. Born on Aug. 12, 1934, in Wolf Lake, he was the son of the late Homer Lee and Mabel Mary (Bonar) Barr. He was employed with Dana Corporation in Fort Wayne for 42+ years. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Barr of Kendallville; four sons, Craig Linthicum of Kendallville, Bret and Tonya Barr, both of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Joe Barr of Albion and Todd Barr of Kendallville; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sally (Jim) Grawthrop of Kimmell, Betty (Carl) McKee of Terre Haute and Sandy (Woody) Halsey of Woodburn. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville. Preferred memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or School.
