Funeral services for Bertha A. Hamilton, 92, of New Edinburg, who died January 11, 1998, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Piney Grove AME Church with the Rev. Kent Broughton officiating.
Burial will be at Piney Grove Cemetery by Brown-Williams Funeral Home of Fordyce.
Born July 6, 1905, at New Edinburg, she was a daughter of the late Allen Crain and Lydia Crain.
She was a member of Piney Grove AME Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Hamilton.
Survivors include a son, Bernard Hamilton of Kenosha, Wisconsin; a daughter, Helen Lamb-Hampton of St. Paul, Minnesota; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great- grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
