Mary E. Abell 88, Indianapolis formerly of Greenwood and Brownsburg passed away October 27, 2009. She was born July 11, 1921 in Indianapolis to the late Henry G. and Mabel White Gaalema. Mary married Richard Albertson in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1966. She then married David C. Abell on May 29, 1971 in Indianapolis and he preceded her in death on April 16, 2009. Her hobbies were square dancing and crafts. Her survivors are brother Robert (Martha) Gaalema, Indianapolis; sons Ronald (Judy) Albertson, Indianapolis, Bruce (Kathy) Albertson, Warsaw, KY, Daniel Albertson, Indianapolis, Ralph (Evonne) Abell, Marion, KY, Roger (Rita) Abell, Greenwood and Russ (Kim) Abell, Wabash; granddaughter Curineia (Chris) Foster Hanson, Greenwood; as well as 23 other grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by daughter Brenda Albertson; son Richard Albertson; brother Charles Gaalema; sisters Ann Ham and Carol Jones. Her service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with visitation 4:00 � 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 30 at the mortuary. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
