Courtney LeeAnn Savage

COMANCHE — Courtney LeeAnn Savage, 13, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at
Children's Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ray of Hope Church with cousin
Patrick Cannon of Paris, Texas, and Pastor Mike McCord officiating. Burial
will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche under the direction of Don
Grantham Funeral Home.

Courtney was born Oct. 31, 1988, in Lawton to Randy and Mika Savage.

Courtney attended Comanche Middle School where she was in eighth grade, a
CMS cheerleader and served on the yearbook staff. She enjoyed spending time
with her family and friends, especially her twin sister, Whitney. Her
favorite pastimes included reading, watching TV and chatting with friends
on the Internet.

Survivors include her parents; her twin sister, Whitney; and twin brothers,
Dylan and Tyler, all of the home; her maternal grandparents, Mike and Edee
Girod of Duncan; paternal grandparents, Marcia Savage of Duncan and Murray
and Cheryl Savage of Marlow; maternal great-grandparents, Ann Wynn of
Walters and Leon and Loveen Girod of Duncan; paternal great-grandparents,
Pat Halphen of Durango, Colo., and Mary Savage of Moore; aunts and uncles,
Daimon and Tina Girod, Rusty Girod, and Timmy and Paula Fleetwood all of
Duncan, Leeanna Savage of Tucson, Ariz., and Andrea Savage of Marlow; and
several cousins.

She was preceded in death by very special family members; grandmother,
Paula "Grandma Dunkie" Wynn; great-grandfather, Paul Wynn; great-
grandmother, Rose Halphen; great-grandfather, John Savage; and cousin,
Haylee Fleetwood.

Bearers will be Daimon Girod, Timmy Fleetwood, Jhon Jones, Mark Luna,
Terral Rather and Keith Hare. Honorary bearers are the CMS cheerleaders.
