Margaaret Barnheisel
Mrs. Margaret (NEFF] HUNNESHAGEN BARNHEISEL, 79, former resident of this city, died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday at the Mexico Brethren nursing home hospital, where she had been a patient for the past nine months. Prior to her entry into the nursing home she had resided with her sister, Mrs. Mary BARNHEISEL, 215 West Ninth street, this city.
With the exception of 12 years when she lived in Gilead all of her life was spent in Rochester.
She was born May 26,1874, on a farm west of this city to Joseph and Harriet (WALTERS) NEFF. She was married to Charles HUNNESHAGEN Sept. 29, 1897, who preceded her in death in February of 1933. On August 25, 1935, she was married to Noah BARNHEISEL who died in 1948. She was a most active member in the Trinity E.U.B. church; the W.C.T.U. and the Rebekah lodge of this city.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Peter G. HAZLETT, Marion; three sisters, Mrs. Mary BARNHEISEL, Mrs. Emma HAIMBAUGH, both of this city; Mrs. Amos SANDERS, Akron; three brothers, William R. NEFF, Wenatchee, Wash.; Frank NEFF, Pateros, Wash.; Floyd NEFF, Fort Wayne and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Stephen GUBI officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
