Entire Life Had Been Spent Near Agency - Buried Today
Agency, MO. April 26 - Mrs. Sarah Jane Lytton, seventy-two years old, died at the home here of her daughter, Mrs. Eva Hahn, yesterday morning. Mrs. Lytton died within one-half mile of her birthplace, having lived her entire life in Buchanan County and the Agency Community.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Nancy Ann Mitchell, who is ninety-five years old; six sons: James, Jack, Grover, William, George and Fred, all of Agency; three daughters: Mrs. Ora Copple of St. Joseph, Mrs. Hahn, at whose home she died, and Mrs. Leona Barton of Frazier, and five sisters, Mrs. Alvera Stewart, Mrs. Emma Noland, Mrs. Kizzie Copple, Mrs. Lula Noland and Mrs. George Patton, all of the Agency community. The funeral was held at the Agency Christian Church this afternoon, the Rev. Floyd Taylor of St. Joseph officiating.
