Arnelia May Hepler a resident of Canby passed away at an Oregon City hospital age 81y, d/John & Ida (Andrews) Whiteis b 2 Mar 1896 at Wells, MN & came to OR in 1900. As a young girl she lived at Toledo, OR for several years, but the majority of her lifetime was spent in the Canby & Molalla area. She married Abe Hepler 21 Feb 1918 Vancouver, WA, he preceded her in death. For their 50th wedding anniversity, she had her wedding dress (made by her mother, Ida (Andrews) Whiteis on displacy. Mrs Hepler was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by 3 sons, Myron of Molalla, Henry of Salem & Clarence of Oak Grove; 5 daughters Lorraine Flohaug of Vancouver, WA, Winnifred Hendrickson of Burns, Orma of Canby & Ruth & Marjorie Pressel, both of Oregon City; 26 gc & 21 ggc; 1 brother Ross Whiteis of Lebanon; & 6 sisters Merle Miller of Molalla, Gladys Holland of Yucalpa, CA; Luella Joy of Canyonville, OR, Hazel Pond of Albany, Doris Miller of Tigard & Ida Seely of Susanville, CA Everhart & Kent are in charge; Interment Clayton Yoder Cemetery (Odd Fellows) NEAR Aurora, Molalla OR.
