Mr. Barth worked in the tool and die industry. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and for many years belonged to the church choir. Music was an important part of his life and he enjoyed the challenge of learning a new hymn.
He is survived by a brother, Dennis (Jackueline) Barth of Rockford, MI; several nieces and nephews; his wife’s cousin, Kay Fairman, and her sons, Craig and Scott Fairman.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bethany Barth in 1993.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014 in Faith Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. C.J. Ransdell will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
