On June 1, 1985, at Francis Scott Key Medical Center (Bayview), Anna Maria Clark (nee Ganzzermiller), beloved wife of the late John W. Clark, whom she married on January 29, 1938, at United Evangelical Church, died of cardiac arrest, due to an abdominal perforation.

Mrs. Clark was born at home, at 410 South Durham Street, on March 17, 1917, attended by Midwife, Felicya Kozlowski of 520 South Ann Street. She was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Ganzzermiller (nee Yoos).

Anna Marie was the sister of Mrs Mary Melcher (husband, Claude), Catherine Burbul, Dolores Venker, Joseph Ganzzermiller Jr., William Ganzzermiller and Louis Ganzzermiller.

Mrs. Clark resided with her husband and children at 112 S. Bouldin Street, Highlandtown. Her son, Kerry remembered that his mother was a big fan of Elvis Presley. As a young boy, Kerry's mother took him to every Elvis Presley movie ever made. She also enjoyed all the attractions of the Atlantic City boardwalk, including the diving horse. Many summers included several trips to the Jersey shore.

In her final years, Mrs. Clark was confined to her bedroom, needing an oxygen apparatus to relieve her breathing difficulties.

Funeral services were conducted by the George Weber Funeral Home, 705 S. Ann Street. She was buried on June 4, 1985 in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Mrs Clark was the mother of John William Clark, Rosemarie Mause, William Gordon Clark, Veronica West, Linda Duscl, Walter Kim Clark, Dale Raymond Clark, Kerry Robert Clark and Malia Tomczewski-Wagner.
