James Albert Ball, 64, a resident of Johnson died Saturday morning at his home after a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 31, 1892, at Japton, the son of William and Rebecca Harriman Ball. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife, Pearl Sizemore Ball, of the home; two sons, Leerie Ball of the home and Leo Ball of Johnson; four sisters, Mrs. Nancy Crumpacker, Mrs. Charlotte Rogers, Johnson, Mrs. Lydia Bayley, Modesto, Calif. and Mrs. Allie Thomas, Upland, Calif. and two grandsons.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Church of Christ in Johnson by Joe Banks, assisted by James L. Neal, Church of Christ ministers. Burial was in Stuckey cemetery under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
