He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Malissa; daughter, Janie at home; mother, Maxine Patterson of New Haven; sister, Cindy (Mike) Conley of New Haven; brother, Jack Patterson of California; 13 nieces and nephews; 22 great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, William and Joan Kern. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Patterson; and in-laws, Thomas and Louise Palmer.
