JEFFREY L. PATTERSON, 51, of Fort Wayne, died on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Hartford City, he was a member of Liberty Mills Church of the Nazarene in Fort Wayne. He was also an active ham radio operator for 25 years, his call sign is N9UKF. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Malissa; daughter, Janie at home; mother, Maxine Patterson of New Haven; sister, Cindy (Mike) Conley of New Haven; brother, Jack Patterson of California; 13 nieces and nephews; 22 great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, William and Joan Kern. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Patterson; and in-laws, Thomas and Louise Palmer. Service is 11 a.m. Monday at Liberty Mills Church of the Nazarene, 10621 Liberty Mills Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior at the church. Pastor Terry Fittro officiating. Calling also from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Road 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Mount Etna Cemetery, Mount Etna. Preferred memorials may be directed to the family.
