Alfred J. Yannucci, Jr. of Trout Run was peacefully called to eternal rest on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at his home and surrounded by his family.

Al was born Jan. 1, 1941, in Jamaica, Queens, N.Y. to the late Alfred J. Sr. and Mary Rogers Yannucci.

He is survived by his wife Susan, and his sister Judith Latsch of Williamsport.

He spent most of his career operating his own home improvement company and later worked for Sears selling home improvements. He retired from Sears seven years ago and returned to the area from New York at that time.

He enjoyed being with his family and sharing in their interests. He enjoyed the beauty, serenity, and the quality of life offered by living in Cascade Township. He also admired the areas rich history, and especially enjoyed the surviving homes and architecture of the lumber era. He really appreciated the ornate details of that time.

He is also survived by his nine children and their families. From his wife Susan - Paul, and Jimmy, both of Trout Run. Surviving from his first wife Nancy are Michael and his wife Barbara of Shoreham, NY; Alfred III and his wife Wendy of Kirkwood, PA; Nina and common law husband Sal of Shoreham, NY; Tony and his wife Kim of Juno Beach, FL; Tina of Rocky Point, NY; Nicolas of Oxford, PA; Angelina and her husband Joe of New Providence, PA.

He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, two nieces and five nephews.

The family will be holding a private memorial service.
