CHARLES BATESON CALLED BY DEATH
Charles Wesley Bateson, 71, died at his home in Crooksville Rt.2 Thursday morning at 4 o'clock following a long illness.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mae Koon Bateson; one son, Clarence of Crooksville Rt.2: five daughters, Mrs. Joe Colborn of Roseville, Mrs. Wilbur Riley and Mrs.William Weller of Crooksville, Mrs. Victor Brown of Westerville and Mrs. Alex Parker of Crooksville; four brothers, Guy of Crooksville Rt. 2, Jesse of Zanesville, William of Lancaster and Dudley of Crooksville Rt.2, sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Cannon and Cannon Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. Burial will be made in Crooksville Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home until time for the services.
