DEATH OF DANIEL F. BITLER

Daniel F. Bitler moved from Ohio to Chippewa Township six years ago and died at his home five miles east Nov. 10, 1908 at the age of 72 years. He was born in Schuylkill county Pennsylvania, and married Angeline Seiwell.

Ten children blessed this union, nine of whom, with the mother, are survivors. Besides these there are 56 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren whom he has lived to know.

He was a member of the United Brethren Church; enlisted in the Army in 1861 and served through the war.

The funeral was held at the home Friday last, conducted by Rev. J. Adair McGreaham, and the body was laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
