Will Irby ''Irb" Hendrix, 90, of 509 Hendrix Road, died Dec. 5, 2000, at Magnolia Place, Greenville.

A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late George Washington and Maggie McElrath Hendrix, a member of Woods Chapel United Methodist Church and retired farmer and former employee of Winn-Dixie.

Surviving are his wife, Clara Jackson Hendrix of Greenville; two daughters, Mildred Vaughn of Moore, and Margaret Garrett of Greer; one son, Wallace Hendrix of Greer; one brother, Bud Hendrix of Greer; two sisters, Maggie Payne and Bessie Cooper of Lyman; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, conducted by Dr. C.O. Pittman and the Rev. Richard McAlister.

Family: At their respective homes.

Visitation will be held following the graveside service in the church social hall.
