Mrs. Ida Seaborn Castleman
Mrs. Ida Seaborn Castleman, 83, died yesterday at her home on Stewart's Ferry road, Hermitage, Tenn.
The body is at McMillen and Hibbett funeral home, Old Lebanon road, Donelson. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Baker's Grove Baptist church. The Rev. Jimmy Pibbs will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Earl Hooper. Burial will be in Seaborn cemetery on Cook road.
Mrs. Castleman was a native and life-long resident of Davidson County. She was the daughter of John and Ellen Seaborn. She attended public schools and Fanning college.
She taught in schools in Davidson County before her marriage in 1871 to R. L. Castleman. Dr Castleman died in 1930.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. J. S. Jenkins and Miss Mae Castleman of Hermitage and Mrs. Hugh McCullough of Donelson; two sons, Emmett Castleman and Ray Castleman of Hermitage; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
