Ollie Culbertson dies at hospital
Mrs. Ollie V. Culbertson, 83, of route 5, six miles southeast of Decatur on the Piqua road, wife of Harvey W. Culbertson, died at 6:37 p.m. Monday at the Adams county memorial hospital. She had been a patient there four weeks.
Mrs. Culbertson was a member of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church at Bobo. She was a retired employee of the Decatur General Electric.
Born in Adams county on March 14, 1890, she was the daughter of Joseph and Jane Russell-Andrews, and was first married to Eli Rich who died in 1935. She later married Harvey W. Culbertson on September 18, 1939, and he survives.
Also surviving are one grandson, Paul E. Rich of route 3; one great-granddaughter; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Arnold (Mary) Scheumann of route 4, Ossian. One son, Paul R. Rich, died in 1967. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Zwick funeral home, with Rev. Clifford C. Conn and Larry Andrews officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday and until time of the services.
