Elizabeth was the youngest daughter born to Henry and Elizabeth "Betsy" Warstler Rice of Ellerton Wolfsville area of Frederick County.

Elizabeth, twice married, survived both her husbands, Emanuel Dreyher whom she married January 18, 1851, and John A. Wilson, who she married February 22, 1860.There were children by both marriages. Emanuel was a farmer and John Wilson was a School teacher from upper New York state.

Before the death of Emanuel there were three children,two boys and a girl, Manassas Dreyher, who died before reaching the age of 10 years, Noah Dreyher and who disappeared after 1880 and one daughter, Anna "Annie" Naomi Dreyher who married Josiah Betts of Washington County and was the mother of five children.

Noah Drayher left Thurmont with James Altman who was a farm laboror on Noah's aunt and uncles farm near Mechanistown (Thurmont) Christine Dreyher Miller and husband William Miller, and went silver mining in Nebraska. Here silver mineing in the 1880 census is the last known of Noah In the 1900 census, James Altman, his silver mining partner is living in Texas, daughter Naomi married Josiah Betts and raised a family of three daughters and two sons that grew to maturity.

Elizabet's second marriage was to John A. Wilson a school teacher from new York State and from this marriage were four children,one son and three daughters, John Wesley Wilson and wife Laura Catherine, Mary Jane Recher, Amanda Elizabeth Swope Warner and Emma Sophia Brunner of Foxville.

Elizabeth is buried at Wolfsville, next to her daughter Mary Jane Recher.
