Judiah was one of 9 children (5 sons and 4 daughters) born of Arthur Aylsworth (1685-1761) and his wife Mary Franklin. Judiah's siblings were: Philip, David, James, John, Freelove, Dimmis, Anstis, and Barbara.

Judiah was admitted Freeman, May 1, 1744, in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. He married, April 1, 1745, his 1st wife Ruth Draper by whom he had 8 children (4 sons and 4 daughters): Abel (b. 1745), Mary (1747-1828), Lydia (1750-1833), Arthur (b. 1752), Christiana (b. 1754), Jeddiah (b. 1756), Stephen (b. 1759), and Ruth (b. 1761).

Judiah was elected by the Colony of Rhode Island General Assembly a West Greenwich Justice of the Peace in August 1760, October 1764, May 1768, June 1769, May 1770, May 1771, May 1772, May 1773, May 1774, June 1775, May 1776, May 1777, May 1778, and May 1779. He was West Greenwich's Deputy to the Rhode Island and Providence Plantations General Assembly, held at Newport on the 1st Wednesday of May, 1776, he was the same year appointed to take the census of that town, and he was West Greenwich's Deputy to the Rhode Island and Providence Plantations General Assembly, held at Providence on the 1st Wednesday of May, 1778.

Judiah married, March 11, 1764, his 2nd wife Rosanna (Edwards) Stafford (d. 1809) by whom he had 5 more children (all sons): Wanton (b. 1764), Perry Green (b. 1766), Stukely (1769-1837), Frederick (b. 1774), and John.

Judiah moved to Pownal, Bennington County, Vermont in 1780 where he died and was buried.
