SHOP Vera May Shop, age 80, of Canal Winchester, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at her residence. Born December 21, 1927, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Harley Anson and Bertha Jane (Denman) Minor.
Also preceded in death by husband Robert Fred Shop in 1999, two sisters and one brother. Member of Redeemer's Church, in Columbus, the Quilting Group at Canal Winchester Senior Center and a member of Red Hats.
Survived by daughter, Cindy (Mark) Dixon, Canal Wincester; grandsons, Joseph and Ian; cousins, Betty Wolford and James Minor; sister-in-law, Charlene Irwin; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at TurnPoint Apostolic Church, 7718 Groveport Rd., Groveport, Ohio 43125, where family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m.
