DULUTH, Minn. - Dany Joe Williamson, 40, Duluth, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Solvay Hospice House after a long battle with brain cancer.
Dany was born Oct. 31, 1969 in Sturgis, S.D., to Myrl and Cleo (Daniels) Williamson. He was united in marriage July 29, 1989 to Tracy Bruckelmyer in Spearfish, S.D. He was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy, and three sons, Brennen, Brady and Quinn Williamson; his parents, Myrl and Cleo, Sundance, Wyo.; his siblings, DeAnn (Harry) Redinger, Buffalo, Wyo., Debbie (Mike) Crawley, St. Onge, S.D., Marlon (Wanda), Darwin (Janie), Alan (Lori), Thomas (Corrine) and Jon, all of Sheridan, Wyo., Sally (Dale) Nelson, Hayti, S.D., Joel (Dee) and Cody (Tiffany), all of Moorcroft, Wyo., Cory (Trudy), Whitewood, S.D., and Bonnie Williamson, Gillette, Wyo.; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; and a host of special Christian friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Del Ray; two nephews, Jace and Ty Williamson; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Solvay Hospice House. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 5755 Ryan Road, and one hour before services at the church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the church. Burial will be at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Cemetery.
