GICAMINO AQUINO
Gicamino "Kay" Aquino, 23, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 19, 2006. She was born March 30, 1983, in Rome, N.Y., and resided in Nevada for four years. Kay went to Rome, N.Y. public schools, she enjoyed singing, music and plays. She moved to Las Vegas, to pursue a career in cosmetology and entertainment. Kay died after a several year fight with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). She died from complications of AIDS. She unfortunately was unable to be treated to prevent these complications prior to contracting AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome). Kay is survived by her father, Joseph Aquino; mother, Veta Aquino; her brother, Joseph Aquino; sister and brother-in-law, Tabitha and Timothy Armstrong; her nephew and niece, Christian and Karli Rose Armstrong; and grandmother, Edith DeCarlois. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services to follow at 2 p.m., at Palm Valley View Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Donations may be made to final expenses fund: Bank of America, RT#122400724, Acct. #501000678070.
