Warren E. CoSeman
Warren E. Coleman, 80, of Fletcher passed away at 2:17 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2007, in Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born on Feb. 21, 1927, in Pliny, W.Va., the son of the late Wilbert and Elsie (Saxton) Coleman. He married Patricia Gustin on July 31, 1949, and she survives.
He also is survived by four children, Roger (Hazel) Coleman of Tipp City, Shirley (Ralph) Avey of Pleasant Hill, Sherl (Al) McEnhill of Charlevoix, Mich, and Susan
(James) Percy of Vandalia; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include a sister, Alta Cutright of Charleston, W. Va, and five brothers, Dexter (Eulah) Coleman of Troy, Roy (Dorothy) Coleman of Troy, Ray
Coleman of Carroll, Paul (Linda) Coleman of Grove City and Boyd (Molly) Coleman of Pliny, W.Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and five brothers.
Warren retired Feb. 19, 1990, after 43 years of employment with Hobart Manufacturing, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, with the Rev. David Ramming of the Bethel United
Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Drive, Tipp City.
Visitation for family and friends was Tuesday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church, 2505 E. Loy Road, Piqua, OH 45356.
