James Arthur Grider, 79 of Aubrey passed away Wednesday, November 04, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. God honored and blessed us as family and friends and all who were blessed enough to know him. Such a Christian man's man is rare. He loved God, family and country and always helped the needs of others. He always loved animals and dedicated much love and care to them even the stray ones that seemed to know where we lived. James was an Air Force Korean War veteran.

James started the first mobile tire service for automobile dealerships nearly 60 years ago in Dallas and stopped his business in 2004. James and his wife Barbara operated Jabarra Arabian horse breeding farm.

James is survived by his wife Barbara Diane, 3 sons, David, Danny and Darrell, their wives Wanda and Kim. Also there are 2 grandsons, Jodie and James and a granddaughter, Katrina and several great grandchildren. James was preceded in death by another grandson, Christopher.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Pastor Ronnie Allen and Pastor Greg Thomas. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

James was blessed with a long blessed life. God took him home and we all hope to be there with him again at his mansion. He will be so missed as he was deeply loved.

Jesus put His arm around James and said "Grider it's time to go home".
