Alex was the son of Emil Henry and Alberta Holland Peters. His parents are buried in Greenwood Cemetery. Alex retired from the U.S. Air Force. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in the Pacific theater, mainly based in Austrailia. After his tour in the Army, he re-enlisted in the Air Force. He married Maxine White. He died in his home in Saginaw.
