Ann Nesfield Pearson
wife of Jesse A. Pearson, Esqr.
and daughter of Gen. John Steele.
She died in the 1rst year of her
marriage, in the 21st year of her age.
Thus suddenly was cut off one of
the brightest ornaments of her sex.
A model of its peculiar virtues,
charities and accomplishments.
She was born at Salisbury on the
27th day of Jany. 1784
and died the 4th of October 1804
