Jane was the wife of Elias Presnell (sometimes spelled Pressnell, Presnall). He was the son of Elijah Presnall and Nancy Barnes. They married Sept. 19, 1849 in Claiborne County,Tennessee.
Jane had at least 10 children: William A., John R.,James M.,Sarah J.,Nancy A.,Edward, Martin. Mary Belle,Elias S. and Margaret Presnell. She outlived her husband and some of her children and grandchildren.
Cause of death: Small Pox
