On Feb. 23, 1975, Marquis H. (Pete) Morgey, beloved husband of Agnes A. Morgey (nee Auth), devoted brother of Mrs. Geneva Casebolt and Mr. Russell Morgey.

Funeral services will be held at the Leonard J. Ruck Funeral Home, Inc., 5306 Harford Road (at Echoldale) on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Composite Lodge No. 212 AP and AM announces with deep regret the passing of Brother Marquis Morgey, past Master and extends our deepest sympathy to the family. The Brethren will assemble at the Ruck Funeral Home, Monday, Feb. 24, at 8 p.m. when memorial services will be held. Harry D. La Bonte III, Worshipful Master

Marquis "Pete" Morgey attended school in Marshall and graduated from Missouri Valley College. In the 1930 Census, he is living at Millersburg Military Institute in Millersburg, Kentucky. He is an instructor there.

Marquis married Dorothy Sholfield Doane on October 14, 1932 in Marshall, Missouri. By 1939 the two of them are living in Baltimore, Maryland. After Dorothy passed away, Marquis next married Agnes Auth. In the 1956 Baltimore City Directory, Marquis is listed as an assistant secretary for Elite Laundry of Balto.
