LAFUMEé EDWIN J., 70, of St. Cloud passed away on Saturday, October 17 at his residence. Edwin was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 22, 1939, the son of the late Phoebe Ann (Davis) and Edwin LaFumeé. He lived in upstate NY before moving to Florida in 1993. He worked over 40 years as a taxi and limousine driver and retired from Kangaroo Couriers in Kissimmee, FL in 2000. Ed's love of music led him to many bands throughout his life, the most recent being The Good Times, known and loved throughout St Cloud and the surrounding areas. The Good Times truly enjoyed bringing their music and joy to many seniors, nursing and assisted living homes. Many people often thanked Ed for the help he gave in bringing out their natural singing abilities through his guitar playing. In retirement, Ed followed in the footsteps of oil painter Bob Ross who he greatly admired and became a wonderful artist himself. He was truly humbled by those who admired his work as an artist and found great joy in giving his paintings to family and many friends to display in their homes. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Gail LaFumeé of St. Cloud; sister, Janet Bugosh of Millbrook, NY; daughters, Kristi Brown of North Charleston, SC, Kit Dunbar and family of Woodbridge, CT, Janet LaFumeé of NY; sons, Rich Brown and his Fiancée Sarah Gray-Grimes of Holiday, FL, Edwin M. LaFumeé and family of Poughkeepsie, NY; step-daughter, Kathy Platti and family; step-son, Kenneth Todd and family, both of NY, grandchildren; great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews.
