Minor Brushwood
Minor William Brushwood, 39, died last night at a hospital here. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday. An autopsy will be held at 8 this morning at Sisters' hospital to determine cause of death.
Mr. Brushwood was a resident of Gower, Mo. He was born in Buchanan county, and had been a resident of the county most of his life. He was employed as a welder for Shuster Brothers, Gower. Mr. Brushwood was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace Brushwood of the home; four daughters, Geneva Brushwood, Bonnie Brushwood, Ladonna Brushwood and Dorla Brushwood, and a son, Johnnie Brushwood, all of the home; a stepson, Buster Mosier, St. Joseph; his mother, Mrs. Annie Brushwood, Agency, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. William Hanway, St. Joseph, Mrs. Claud Brock, Agency, Mrs. David Schaefer and Miss Nellie Brushwood, Hawthorne, Cal.; six brothers, Cecil Brushwood, Clarksdale, Mo.; Chesley Brushwood and Robert Brushwood, Nodaway, Mo., Wallace Brushwood, St. Joseph, Arly Ray Brushwood and Franklin Brushwood, Los Angeles, Cal., and three half-brothers, Floyd Auxier, Gower, Emmett Auxier, Agency, and Paul Auxier, Walla Walla, Wash.
The body is at the Rupp mortuary.
