Andrew was the son of H. Waddey Davis and the grandson of Wilber F. & Mary E. Davis. He was a member of the Kilmarnock Seventh-day Adventist Church having been baptized in 1933. Andrew was just 17 years old.

He came to the Washington Sanitarium for an operation for appendicitis, and died eight days after the operation. Andrew was a kind and loving boy, and we know that he will be missed by the Kilmarnock church, especially by Mrs. Ella Brent and her family with whom he had made his home for several years.
