Bernice married Roland R. Lagasse at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Skowhegan on Feb. 9, 1946. She was a hairdresser most all of her life, owning and operating Bunny's Beauty Shop in Skowhegan and was the resident hairdresser at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her parents; four siblings, Richard, Arvell, and Frances Tuttle, and Theresa Holt.
Bunny is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roland of Solon; two daughters, Linda Deschene and her husband, Joe, of Bluffton, S.C., and Penny Williams and her husband, George, of Solon; four grandchildren, Chris Cummings of Portland, Rick Cummings of Chicago, Sean Lesperance of Embden, and Kylie Lesperance of Dresden; two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Lindsay Lesperance, both of Embden; two sisters, Maxine Ames of Canaan, and Barbara Clark of Canaan; her twin brother, Bernard Tuttle and his wife, Irene, of Canaan; one brother-in-law, Omar Holt of Canaan; two sister-in-laws, Frances Pottle of Skowhegan, and Carlene Roy and her husband, Lou, of Vassalboro; along with many nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Skowhegan. (Morning Sentinel 11/11/2009)
