OBITUARY;
Funeral services for William C. Roth, 30, who passed away on Thursday, Dec. 4, in Mankato, were held on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Gordon Funeral Home in Mankato with the Rev. Jennings Feroe officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Duane Ulleland.
Interment was made in the Fairview Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont. The pallbearers were Art Weight, Ronald Crowley, Louis Traeger, Leo Krauteramer, Harland Jones, Tony Clow.
William Roth was born on Oct. 20, 1928, at Truman to William and Lucinda Roth. He was married to Nancy Lockman on April 16, 1955, at Faribault.
He resided in Faribault until 1957. While in Faribault he was employed at the Faribault Daily News and the Sanford Press. He worked at the Mankato Free Press prior to his death.
Mr. Roth is survived by his wife, Nancy; by three sons, Robin, 3, William Jr., 2, and Steven, 5 months; by his mother, Mrs. Lucinda Roth of Truman; by two brothers, Dale of Mankato and Jerry of Minneapolis; by one sister, Mrs. Marilyn Jesse of Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, William Roth.
