Funeral services for Mrs. Lola Exline Black, age 65 of Columbia, will be 1 PM Friday, November 13, 2009 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Grayson, LA. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 4 PM to 9 PM. Mrs. Black was born in Pollock to the union of John and Hilda Carroll Exline and passed from this life on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. She retired with Frances' Restaurant after 42 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Howard Black, sister; Patsy Ann Exline and brother; Danny Dewayne "Mooney" Exline. Survivors include five brothers: C.M. "B-Line" Exline and wife, Lou of Clarks, Billy Zack Exline and wife, Sheila of Kelly, Tom Exline and wife, Rebecca of Clarks, Wendell James Exline and wife, Deborah of Jacksonville, FL and Johnny Jack Exline and wife, Anna of Jacksonville, FL, four sisters: Bettie Jean Knight and husband, John of Olla, Linda Gail Caraway and Vernon Brown of Columbia, Peggy Atwell of Jena and Dianna Lynn "Polly" McKenzie and husband, Harvey of Grayson and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Pallbearers will be Dandy Dove, David LaPrairie, Bull Exline, Shawn Guinn, Kyle Rogers, James Exline, Jimmy Lindsey, Sherwin Williams, Joe Williams and Josh Sikes.
