Death Claims Robert Gordon
Robert E. Gordon, 74, retired farmer, died at his home 1413 Jefferson avenue about 10 a.m. today.
Born Dec. 11, 1874 in Howard County, Ind., Mr. Gordon had lived in Midland County since 1911 and had resided in the city of Midland for the past five years.
Mr. Gordon with his wife, Mrs. Myrtie Gordon celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on November 15, 1943.
In addition to his widow, Mr. Gordon is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Otis Merrill, Ingersoll Township; five sons. Ehrman, Moran and Ross Gordon, of Midland, Marvin of Flint and Leo of Detroit; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; three brothers, John of Independence, Mo., Joseph of Lafayette, Ind., and Fred of Kokomo, Ind.
Funeral arrangements in charge of the Wilson Funeral Home are incomplete and will be announced later. Friends may call at the Wilson Funeral Home.
