Bill McFall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away at the age of 83. He was born on September 23, 1926 in Penelope, Texas. Bill moved to Oklahoma City in 1949 and worked for Fred Garland and his sons Lee and Bud of Garland's Nursery Inc. In 1950, he established McFall's Nursery and Landscaping which was a successful business until he retired in 1995. He was responsible for the landscaping and design of many businesses and homes throughout Oklahoma, particularly in northwest Oklahoma City. He was past president of The Oklahoma Nurseryman's Association, Village Lions Club, and The Greens Golf and Country Club, where he was a founding member and past club champion. He was an avid golfer and won many tournaments in the 1960, 70s, and 80s with his good friend Danny Williams. Bill is survived by his wife, Sudawan McFall; and his children, spouses and grandchildren, William (Willie) McFall; Tim, Beth, Nick, and Jake O'Donnell; Randy, Susan, Henry and Kathryn Ison. He is also survived by his sister, Eva Ruth Walker of Dallas, Texas, and brothers, Dean McFall of Robstown, Texas, and Harold McFall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Thursday, November 12 from 9-7 at Smith & Kernke, 14624 N. May Ave. Services will be held at Smith & Kernke on Friday November 13 at 11:00 a.m. with graveside services immediately following at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Oklahoma City Beautiful or the Junior Golf Program of Oklahoma Golf Association.
