Mrs. Edith R. Albers was born in Smithton on Aug. 12, 1882, daughter of William J. and Martha A. Boucher. She was married to Earl Albers on Jan. 1, 1907 in Sedalia, and he preceded her in death in 1949.

Edith died Thursday at the Demand Boarding Home in Smithton, aged 92 years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Smithton Cemetery. - Sedalia Democrat - Friday, August 8, 1975 pg.4
