He was a production worker for Kimberly-Clark and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and American Legion Post 275, Dunedin, and VFW Post 10093, Safety Harbor. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Verna; a brother, Bill, Las Vegas, and a niece.
