Sue Ellen Finnell, age 60, of Orchard View Court, Howard, Ohio passed away on Thursday January 17, 2008 at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was born on April 22, 1947 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Richard Frye and Adele (Hedges) Gamble. Sue worked for the Continental Can Company, First Knox National Bank and retired in 1995 from Cooper Energy Services. She was a member of the Gay Street United Methodist Church.
Besides her mother she is survived by her brother Gary (Dee) Frye of Howard, Ohio, a niece and nephew, Glenn (Lorie) Frye, Lindsay (Todd) Davis, great nieces and nephews, Alexcea, Claire, Kyle, Chaz, Abbie and Ethan.
Besides her father she was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Chuck" Finnell, two sons, Chad Bartlett and Chris Bartlett and her stepfather, Paul Gamble.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 PM at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home where friends may call two hours prior. Rev. Dr. David Baker will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
