TIVERTON--William H Warner, 97, formerly of Tiverton, died on June 22, 1991, in the Morning View Care Center at Danville after a long illness.
Born on Oct. 6, 1893, in Greer, he was the son of Michael A. and Caroline (Cly) Warner. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Tiverton Church of Christ and the Tiverton Grange.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John (Ava) Engelhardt of Brinkhaven, and Mrs. Asa (Lucille) Engelhardt of Killbuck, and Mrs. Harold (Helen) Horn of Walhounding, two sons, Arthur Warner of West Chester and Willis Warner of Loudonville; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister Blanche Tish of Fredericksburg.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Estella (Reed) Warner, whom he married on Feb. 28. 1917, and died on July 11, 1941; and Dollie E. (Richcreek) Warner, whom he married on April 12, 1947, and died on Dec. 19, 1982. Also deceased are a son and a sister.
Friends may call in the Fischer Funeral Home, Danville, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p,m, and until service time on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Willard Guy will officiate. Burial will be in Tiverton Cemetery.
