Nancy Ann Elizabeth Heath was the daughter of Charles Cicero Heath and his 1st wife Sophia Jane Banks.

She married Jesse Horn Garrett Jr on 9 Aug 1860 in Chambers, Alabama.

They had one son John Garrett born abt 1861 in Chambers County, Alabama.

He husband Jesse was in 5th Battalion, Hilliard's Legion, Alabama Cavalry, Rank:Bugler, he died in 1862 during the Civil War.

After the death of Jesse, Nancy Ann E. Garrett married William Mosley Heath on 17 Jun 1868 at home of her father Cicero Heath. William was the son of Tinsey Heath and Mary Jane "Polly" Terrell. Tinsey was Cicero's Uncle.

Nancy and William's children were: Nancy Lenora Heath Ross born 14 JUL 1869 in Chambers, Alabama, James Isaiah Heath born 3 March 1872 in Alabama, Sophia Jane Heath born abt 1874 in Alabama, Charles Warner Heath born 28 FEBRUARY 1877 in Chambers County, Alabama, Willie Elizabeth Heath born 14 FEB 1881 in Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama and Cicero Tinsley Heath born 10 MARCH 1882 in Alabama.


Nancy Ann Elizabeth (Heath) Heath died 21 JAN 1906 in Gold Hill, Lee County, Alabama.

Mr. J. I. Heath's mother passed away at her home in Gold Hill last night - her death having been caused from pneumonia.

Her demise was a sad shock to her family and friends, although her death was not unexpected.

Her son James Isaiah Heath was Chief of Opelika Police.
