LUCINDA, a pioneer mother, was the 4th child and 3rd daughter of a family of 10 children of LEBBENS and LUCENA (GRAHAM) GRAVES. 8 grew to adulthood and 5 to 17 yrs of age. Two survive, a sister, 83 who was with her at her death, and the youngest brother age 77 yrs. Lucinda joined the Methodist Episcopal Church at abt age 11. 6 March 1831 married DANIEL BOOTH in Batavia NY. May 1835 she came with her father's family to Ohio, settling in Spencer twp about half a mile from where she made her home, in which she died. She married 2nd, REUBEN FALCONER, on 1 Oct 1840, in Medina Co, Ohio. She and Reuben joined The Free Will Baptist Church in 1855. The Bible was her constant companion. In the over 50 years of married life "The heart of her husband could safely trust in her". "She reached forth her hand to the poor and needy and looked well to the ways of her household." Issue of Reuben and Lucinda Falconer were; REUBEN HENRY, FANNY LUCENA, LUCINDA MATILDA GALLATIN, ARCHELAUS REVIER, AMANDUS DeFOREST, ROSWELL GRAHAM, JOHN EUGENE, and an infant son dying at birth.
She was preceded in death by 2 husbands and 3 children.
