Funeral Services for Mrs. Delia J. Edwards Were Held January 5th 1962
Funeral services for Mrs. Delia Jane Edwards, aged 78 years & 11 days, were held Friday afternoon, January 5, at 2:00 o'clock at the Mackey Funeral Home, Roodhouse. The services were conducted by Rev. Ollie Phillips and interment was in the Oak Wood Cemetery, Greenfield.
The deceased was born December 22, 1883, in Macoupin County and was the daughter of James Washington Arnold and Elizabeth Holiday Edwards. She was united in marriage to Jesse Edwards, who preceded her in death in March, 1930.
Her death occurred Wednesday morning, January 3, 1962 at 9:50 o'clock at the Cedar Knoll Nursing Home, Greenfield.
Mrs. Edwards, a resident of Athensville community, is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Kuehl of Rockton and Mrs. Mary Hinman of Springfield; two sons, Lawrence
D. Edwards of Greenfield. One child preceded Mrs. Edwards in death. Also surviving are a sister Mrs. Herman Schafer of Roodhouse; and three brothers: George Arnold of Waverly, Noah Arnold of White Hall and Ora Arnold of Witchita,
Kansas.
