Wife of Rev. Warren Andrew McDonald, mother of twelve: Alice Fair (Allie), David, Osker, Trudie, Thomas, Arthur, John, Luna Mae, Harvey and 3 that died very young, Lonnie, William and Votie.

There seems to be some discrepancies as to which "Rachel Sheffield" she is. Most of the info I had found for her listed her as Rachel Nancy Sheffield, daughter of Isham R Sheffield and Martha Rice Lane Sheffield. This information is listed most frequently. Yet, while doing research, I found her death certificate that disputes this. The 1900 U.S. Federal census list her as Sarah R McDonald, living next door to her oldest child, Allie McDonald Houston and her family in Mayhaw, Miller county, GA. So, until I find evidence to the contrary, I am listing her as listed on the death certificate, but will include the FaG Memorial links to Isham R and Martha. Arthur and Caroline Sheffield are buried in Keaton Cemetery, Early County, GA.

Isham R. Sheffield, Memorial #31766277
He is the son of Isham S. Sheffield and Elizabeth Jane Roberts, grandson of John Sheffield and Elizabeth Graddy.

Martha Rice Lane Sheffield, Memorial #33783238

Census records do show that Isham R. & Martha had a daughter named Rachel, but I just don't think she is "my" Rachel. If anyone finds something different with proof, I'll be glad to change it.

Cause of Death listed as Tuberculosis complicated by asthma.

Gravesite Details

All info I have found list her year of birth as 1858. 1853 may be a typo.
