Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Allen Andrews, 88, whose death occurred yesterday at Interlachen, where she had made her home for the past 27 years, will be held at the Davis Chapel tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. DeW. Brower conducting the services.

The body will be forwarded to Granville, Ohio, where she will be buried besides her husband in the Denison University Cemetery.

Mrs. Frances D. Andrews with whom she made her home at Interlachen, a daughter-in-law is the sole surviving near relative.

Mrs. Andrews was the widow of the late Dr. E. Benjamin Andrews, prominent educator, author and former president of Brown University, who died at Interlachen in 1917, after he had retired from his profession on account of ill health. Dr. Andrews was formerly connected with Denison University at Granville where he is buried. He held many educational posts and at the time of his death was Chancellor-emeritus of the University of Nebraska. He was also author of numerous text books.

Until ill health prevented her participation, Mrs. Andrews was active in community life at Interlachen donating to worthy civic causes and movements.
