Timothy L. Grose
Services for Timothy Leroy Grose, 19, of RD Ashland, who was killed
in an accident at Kocher Mine, Tower City, will be held Friday afternoon
from the Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View. Rev John R Clouth
of RD Ashland and Rev D.A. Lashey of Williamstown, will be officiating.
Interment will be in Church of God Cemetery, Weishample. There will
be no viewing.
Born in Barry Township, October 26, 1957, he was the son of Walter
and Helen (Lubold) Grose. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a
member of the Independent Miners and Associates.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are four brothers, William, of
Holsopple; Bradley, of RD Hegins; Jeffrey, stationed in the South
Pacific with the United States Army; Matthew, at home; a sister,
Debra, wife of Robert Melburn, of the the United States Army, Georgia;
paternal grandmother, Mrs. Jennie Grose, of Hegins, nephews.
