Cecil Carl Abernathy of Waverly formerly of Vinton died Sat. after a extended ilness in Bartels Nursing Home at Waverly, where he resided for the past year. he worked for GreenGiant Canning Company at Vinton , tranfering to Belvidere Ill. In 1960 He retired in 1980.
Survivors include daughter Katheryn Lawrence of Steamwood Ill. 2 sons Russell of Waverly, and Richard of Ecu Claire WI.9 grandchildren
