James E. McMunn, 54, of McGrann, Manor, died Sunday (Aug. 13, 1989) of cancer in Sugarcreek Rest Inc., Sugarcreek. He was born Jan. 16, 1935, in Manorville. A truck mechanic, he was formerly employed by Raymond Schall Coal Co. in Kittanning. Mr. McMunn was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ford City. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Westwood McMunn; two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Mary Ann) Chiodo of Pittsburgh and Mrs. James (Rosemarie) West of Hampton, Va., two grandsons; and three sisters: Dorothy Fennell of Kittanning, Mary Louise Febinger of Manorville and Mrs. John (Martha) Matus of Ford City. He was preceded in death by a son, James R. McMunn, in May 1987; a daughter, Linda McCauley, on Jan. 7, 1987; and his parents, Russell Lloyd and Mary Vause McMunn. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. in the Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where services will be conducted Wednesday at 8 p.m. by his pastor, the Rev. Gary Koch. Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
