Rural, beloved father of Mrs. Mildred Emmons, stepfather of Albert and John, brother of William Schomberg, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, passed away Wednesday. Chester Schomberg
Funeral services for Chester E. Schomberg, a tool and die maker, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the G.H. Herrman South East Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Washington Park Cemetery East.
Mr. Schomberg, a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, died Wednesday at West 10th Street Veterans Hospital. He was 72 years old.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Prospect Masonic Lodge, and Scottish Rite. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War 1
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Emmons of Indianapolis, two step-sons, Albert and John Calvin, both of Tucson, Ariz., a brother, William Schomberg of Indianapolis, five grandchildren and..." (rest of sentence was left off of column)
